Computer Chick is a leading provider of comprehensive computer solutions based in Toledo, Ohio. Specializing in computer repair and maintenance services, computer training, protection services, and computer relocation, Computer Chick offers personalized and reliable support to both residential and commercial clients. Seby began working in computer technology in 1997 when she moved to the ‘Silicon Valley’ in California. After coming ‘back home’ to West Virginia, she started her own business in 2008. She ran Computer Chick out of her home for several years while also working as an on-site tech doing warranty work for Dell, HP, Samsung, Toshiba and others. During those years, she continued to grow in experience and skills.

A Storefront at Last!! Finally, in the summer of 2014, she was thrilled at the opportunity to open her own storefront located in the quaint stone building at the corner of South Kanawha and Tolbert in Beckley, WV. Seby spent several years doing more “break/fix” work than anything else. She also spent some time doing hardware repairs on mobile devices, such as iPhones, Android phones and tablets but discontinued that work when it was no longer profitable. She even sold beekeeping supplies out of the shop for quite a while under the side business “Piney Creek Beekeeping Supplies”.

Toledo Bound!

As circumstances changed during the Covid years, Seby made the difficult decision to relocate to a new area – Toledo, Ohio which she now calls home. Once again, Computer Chick is operating out of her residence, but she plans to transform part of her garage into a workshop space and hopes to have it available for visitors soon!

Seby takes a lot of pride in her work, setting a high standard for herself in everything she does. Each customer gets personal attention to ensure they are truly getting what they need.
