A “System Reset” is needed when a computer’s Operating System has serious problems and needs to be reloaded.

- Basic Reset: We install, or reinstall your Operating System
This option does NOT include the installation of updates and drivers. Your computer MAY NOT BE USEABLE without manual driver installation unless we do a Factory Reset, otherwise we only recommend this option for people who know what drivers are and are comfortable installing them.

- Fresh Start Reset: We install, or reinstall your Operating System and we also make sure your Updates and Drivers are installed and configured.

- Smart Start Reset: We install or reinstall your Operating System and we also make sure your Updates and Drivers are installed and configured PLUS we set up your user account (such as logging into your Microsoft Account or Apple ID). We can also include setup of up to 3 other accounts, such as email, social media, Google, etc. IF your user data has been backed up to your Microsoft Account or Apple ID, this will put your data back on your computer. We are not responsible for any data backup/transfer with this option.

- Refresh & Renew Package: You get it all for less than the cost of a new computer.
We install or reinstall your Operating System, install your updates, install and configure your drivers, set up your user account (plus up to 3 accounts such as email, social media, etc) and we also transfer your user profile data and applications (if requested and available).

Reset Types:
- “Factory Reset” means we attempt to reset your computer to its original factory settings. This option is not available for all computers and not advisable if your computer had a lot of threats (malware, viruses). With this option, we can try to keep your user data and applications, but this doesn’t always work so we always recommend a backup option if your user data is important to you. THIS OPTION CAN CORRUPT YOUR DATA
- “Clean Install” means we start with a “clean slate” (such as a fresh new storage device, or we wipe everything from the old one). This is your best option if your computer was a lot of threats (malware/viruses) to make sure it’s completely clean.
- “Custom/Vintage” means we install something other than the latest Operating System for Windows or Apple computers. This applies for Operating systems older than Windows 10 and Linux builds. Most people don’t need this.
Storage Device Options:
- No Change: Obvious – we reuse the same storage device your computer currently has
- 500GB: We replace your current storage device with a new 500GB SSD
- 1TB: We replace your current storage device with a 1TB SSD (1TB is double the capacity of a 500GB)
